Bela Lugosi for the win.

Brahm Stoker's Dracula for a book, with P.N. Elronds Vampire Files.

White Wolf's Vampire: Masquerade for a gaming system.

Yes, yes, and yes to all! Bram Stoker was my introduction but Anne Rice sealed the deal. I literally have an entire shelf full of nothing but vampire literature.

Picking a favorite is HARD. I adore Lestat but did not care for Tom Cruise’s interpretation (Stuart Townsend was far better but the film was 😖).

As a former Twilight obsessed nerd, I’ll always hold a special place for Edward, but the lack of fangs took away a bit of the charm and don’t even get me started on the sparkly skin. 🙄🤣

The first two Underworld films were great (okay maybe the prequel wasn’t too bad). The rest have been less than stellar to say the least.

To be perfectly honest, I’m a bit partial to Eric from True Blood. The show fell off in the later years but I thought the first 3 or 4 seasons were pretty decent.

I’m actually getting towards the end of my own vampire series, The Art of Darkness. Working on chapter 12 but 1-11 are on my Substack now.
