Puppy Days In The Lair!
Warning: Fur baby post, incoming.
Hi, Monsters… it’s been a minute or two since you heard from me last. 😛
Things have been busy, busy around my house lately. Too busy for me to be online much at all, and I haven’t done any writing for a while, which I regret. But I had to jump on today with a pic of our new puppy! (Part of said busyness.) Allow me to introduce you to Beau.
Our oldest daughter came home with him last Saturday and, ever since, our days have been filled with puppy care and antics.
When we lost our best boy, Gus, a year and a half ago, I couldn’t bring myself to jump right into getting another dog. He’d been a loved member of the family for fourteen wonderful years, from the day he was born until we had to say goodbye, and I still miss him. Always will—there’s just no way around it. Even, now, writing this brings new tears for my sweet boy. He was a true treasure and I’ll never not be amazed when I think of that special space of time he shared with us.
Our home and hearts have always been open to fur babies and feathered friends, as I’m sure you can tell from the many pics I’ve posted. 😁 And so this fuzzy little face showing up on our doorstep was met with instant excitement and, of course, we’ve all fallen in love. Spring is in the air and we’re looking forward to fun times ahead.
