Flurries and Scurries!
Just dropping this little reminder of some great gift ideas for the book lovers on your list real quick.
Hey, Monsters!
This will be a super quick, fly by post here in the lair today. I’ve found myself in a bit of a frenzy this week, due to some holiday busyness. If you missed last weeks post, refer to the tiktok video therein for some clarification on my current state. ;) The fairy tale I promised is on its way. But of course, I got caught up reading and researching some obscure folk and fairy tales while I was dredging up inspiration and that caused me to want to delve a little deeper. I promise I’ll claw my way out of that rabbit whole and get to posting the dang story here soon. Keep an eye out for it!
Anyway, I thought I would remind you of the fantasy romance gift guide I did last year, just in case you need ideas for the book lovers on your list. I did an update to take out any outdated promotions. To the best of my knowledge, though, all those same books are still on the market. Happy shopping!
Also, here’s a little image snippet of a line from Snow Maiden I found as I was refreshing my memory to get started on the new tale I’m working on. It doesn’t depict Nika’s parents directly, but has more of a connection to the Russian folktale inspired part of that book.
Aaaand, here’s a quick peek at one of the “homemade, decorated, nutless, gluten-free, vegan” reasons I’m in such a flurry this week. (Again, refer to last week’s funny video share for clarification on that reference.) Lol. Stay sane out there, my friends!
They actually turned out better that I thought they would. Do you have a favorite holiday treat? Perhaps, a favorite, holiday, treat that goes great with a good book reading session? Do tell:
With that, I’m off, Monsters.
Wishing you a fun, and adventure-filled rest of your week!

Mmm... for me it's shortbread cookies and tea :-)
